This is where AI comes into play, streamlining the workflow as follows:

1. Radiology reports are created and signed off in current systems.
2. UiPath Medical Record Summarization (MRS) agents examine these reports, highlighting any incidental findings.
3. Azure AI Foundry imaging agents look at historical PACS images and radiology data, comparing previous results with new findings.
4. UiPath agents compile all relevant information—including electronic medical record (EMR) history and AI-derived imaging insights—into a detailed follow-up report.
5. The consolidated findings are sent back to the prescribing healthcare provider along with the initial radiology report, negating the need for them to sift through charts and prior exams for critical information. This provides a secondary notification about the incidental finding and presents summarised patient information in a clear manner, facilitating safe and prompt care.

UiPath Maestro manages this workflow, directing the comprehensive packet to the prescribing physician or specialist for further actions.
