Following the upgrade, data retrieval times plummeted from over an hour to under five minutes. Moneris, a prominent player in fintech, has adopted an API-first strategy to transform its payments ecosystem using Azure API Management. This change significantly shortened time-to-market, allowing developers to transition from sign-up to production in just 72 hours—a drastic reduction from over six months—while ensuring top-notch security and compliance.
Heineken has similarly undertaken an API-first transformation, achieving seamless integration and real-time responsiveness across its global operations. With Azure API Management, Heineken’s API ecosystem promotes operational excellence, achieving 100% platform availability and fostering ongoing innovation and growth.

Azure API Management addresses this concern with advanced tools for securing, controlling, and managing AI APIs. Our developing GenAI Gateway capabilities, specifically designed for generative AI use cases, offer improved governance, observability, and control for AI APIs.
