  • Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps DLP transitioning to Microsoft Purview:

    As of December 31, 2026, Microsoft will phase out Data Loss Prevention (DLP) features in Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (MDA). These capabilities will be merged into Microsoft Purview, which will act as the central point for integrated data security across Microsoft 365. Keep an eye out for a comprehensive migration strategy from Microsoft, including a step-by-step rollout plan and resources to assist with the customer migration process.   • Veeam boosts data recovery for North Devon District Council by 50%


    :
    With cloud-based threats on the rise, safeguarding vital services for over 94,000 residents became critical for North Devon District Council. By collaborating with Microsoft partner Veeam and Phoenix Software, the council established a cloud-native backup strategy for its on-premises setup as well as Microsoft 365. Now, Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 secures approximately 2 TB of data, resulting in a recovery speed that is 50% faster, and backup times reduced by around 20%, with backups occurring twice daily.
