  • Publish a Copilot agent or analytics solution in the Microsoft Security Store: Boost your presence within the Microsoft Security ecosystem and unlock new earning potentials by listing a compliant Copilot agent or analytics solution in the Security Store. This resource helps identity, data protection, and compliance teams easily find and integrate partner solutions into their existing workflows. Discover how to shape your offer and prepare for listing it.

 

  • The Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) certification is retiring: set to retire in August 2026, this certification will be succeeded by the new Cloud and AI Security Engineer Associate (SC‑500) certification. A transition period is available, allowing partners to use either certification to meet the skilling requirements for the Security Solutions Partner designation and related specialisations.

 

  • Secure Boot certificates are expiring:: Secure Boot certificates will begin expiring starting June 2026. To maintain the protective benefits of Secure Boot, partners and customers need to upgrade their certificates beforehand. Check out the initial set of tools now available to make updating your Secure Boot certificates easy.

 

  • Security Dashboard for AI, board-ready visibility into AI risk: Discover how CISO leaders are leveraging the Security Dashboard for AI to create board reports and build a shared intelligence framework across security teams. This tool facilitates executive-level discussions with customers, focusing on AI governance and comprehensive visibility into business risk outcomes.

 

  • Hyper-scale your SOC with Microsoft Defender: Join our webinar on May 12, 2026, at 9:00 AM PST to learn how to safely expand your Security Operations Center (SOC) using Microsoft Defender’s role-based access control and delegated access features. Find out how to enable multiple SOC teams to operate within a shared environment and manage access efficiently, all while maintaining governance.

 

  • Microsoft Sentinel adds unified RBAC with row-level access: Now featuring unified role-based access control with row-level scoping, Microsoft Sentinel enhances permission management and helps ensure that SOC teams can only access the data relevant to their roles, all within the Microsoft Defender portal.

 

  • Securely delegate access with GDAP in Microsoft Sentinel: Now extending Granular Delegated Admin Privileges (GDAP) to Microsoft Sentinel, secure and scalable access is simplified, enabling organizations to oversee multi-tenant access directly in the Microsoft Defender portal while adhering to a consent-based, Zero Trust framework.

  • New capabilities in Microsoft Agent 365 and new Microsoft Defender and GitHub integration: The latest Defender capabilities in the Agent 365 tooling gateway now allow security teams to detect, block, and investigate threats to AI agents. In addition, a new Defender for Cloud integration with GitHub Advanced Security is now available, providing unified security visibility across the development lifecycle, enabling teams to track vulnerabilities from source code to deployment, thereby speeding up the resolution process.
