Partner Blog | From AI curiosity to Copilot adoption in 30 days
Thirty days. Twenty-five users. One straightforward journey into AI.
For small and medium-sized businesses, AI isn’t just a future notion; it’s a current necessity. Customers are no longer asking if AI is important; they’re keen to know how to implement it in a way that’s efficient, swift, and secure. The tricky part is figuring out where to begin.
Businesses want to find practical applications, experience AI in their daily tasks, and assess its benefits before making larger commitments. This opens a fantastic opportunity for Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) partners to guide customers from initial curiosity to ongoing use. The SMB sector is estimated by Microsoft to present a massive $625 billion* market opportunity by FY27. However, many organisations are still at the early stages of their AI transformation.
As discussed at the MCAPS Start for Partners, FY27 will see unprecedented levels of investment in CSP and programmatic incentives through the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program. This includes improving partner capabilities and resources aimed at facilitating growth, attracting new customers, and ensuring customer success through the introduction of Microsoft Copilot.
One of our primary investments in the partner ecosystem is the Copilot in 30. This initiative, available through CSP New Commerce, is a new Microsoft 365 Copilot Business trial tailored specifically for SMBs with under 300 employees. This offering will run until December 31, 2026. It includes a 30-day trial for 25 users and a collection of resources and guidance designed for partners, along with marketing materials, setup instructions, and adoption content. This structured approach helps transform AI curiosity into a practical Copilot experience.
What’s new
For partners, Copilot in 30 offers a repeatable framework to convert customer interactions into adoption strategies and growth plans. Instead of viewing Copilot simply as a trial, you can guide customers through a practical experience that addresses their real business needs. Customers can discover how Microsoft 365 Copilot Business integrates into their daily operations, test it across various roles, and build confidence in its application.
Copilot serves as an entry point, enabling users to work more efficiently today while paving the way for future automation and processes. Use this 30-day trial to illustrate practical scenarios, pinpoint high-impact use cases, and clarify the journey from assessment to fully adopting Microsoft 365 Copilot Business.
