Two months of innovation: Microsoft Adoption updates from May-June 2026

May 2026: Put AI into action

To help users get going quickly and start seeing benefits straight away, we’ve revamped the Microsoft 365 Copilot Adoption Hub. This updated platform focuses on making it easier for different roles: AI Business Users, AI Champions, and AI Leaders.

Find practical tips on how to incorporate Copilot into your daily tasks with easy prompts, real-world examples, and straightforward onboarding support. In addition to the refresh of the Copilot Hub, May introduced several enhancements to assist organisations at all stages of their AI journey, including:

• A new Prompt Gallery filled with real examples showcasing how Copilot can assist with various tasks.
• Multiple new webinars in the Customer Hub, including options available in additional languages.
• Improvements for accessibility to ensure an inclusive experience for all users, alongside fresh learning materials.

Feeling unsure about how to start with Copilot? The overhauled Copilot Adoption Hub is designed to meet you exactly where you are. Watch videos demonstrating everyday use cases, explore the built-in Prompt Gallery, and click on “Try with Copilot” to see prompts in action. You can further explore resources for Researcher and Analyst agents, check out agent scenarios, and even learn how to design your own. There are advanced resources available for IT Pros and seasoned Champions too, including dedicated playbooks, prompt-a-thon materials, and toolkits to help boost engagement across your organisation. With downloadable resources and a mobile-friendly design, accessing guidance becomes quick and easy, allowing you to learn efficiently and use Copilot effectively every day.

June 2026: Achieve more with Cowork, your AI partner

While May was all about getting started with AI, June took it a step further. The launch of Microsoft 365 Copilot Cowork, along with expanded resources for SharePoint and AI agents, brought new ways for users to enhance their skills, explore cutting-edge AI capabilities, and maximise the value of Microsoft 365.

• Microsoft 365 Copilot Cowork became widely available for enterprise users, providing role-based support for AI Users, AI Business Users, AI Champions, and IT Pros.
• Resources for Copilot in SharePoint were introduced to help users understand how AI can boost content discovery and collaboration.
• AI Agents resources were enhanced, simplifying the learning process and making it easier to adopt agent-based experiences.
• Content from the Microsoft 365 Community Conference and Customer Hub expanded, offering additional on-demand learning opportunities across Copilot, agents, prompt mastery, leadership readiness, and governance.

Ever wished you could delegate a task, step away, and return to find it completed? That’s where Cowork really shines. Instead of managing each individual step yourself, simply set a goal, whether it’s researching a topic, drafting a report, preparing for a meeting, or organising follow-up tasks.

In these scenarios, let Cowork take care of the workload across your Microsoft 365 applications. It keeps you updated on progress, lets you step in whenever necessary, and asks for your approval before tasks like sending emails or making posts in Teams. This means spending less time juggling tasks and hopping between apps, allowing you to concentrate on the work that needs your expertise.

These innovations have resonated well with customers. In June alone, Microsoft Adoption saw over 1.5 million unique page views and 720,000 downloads, contributing to nearly 20 million page views and more than 7.6 million downloads across FY26. This strongly indicates that users are actively searching for tools to better collaborate and extract more value from Microsoft technologies.
