Updates to Teamwork Deployment specialization: View new name and requirements
From April 29, 2026, Microsoft will be officially renaming the Teamwork Deployment specialization to the Secure AI Productivity specialization. This new title highlights the importance of solid security foundations necessary for successfully adopting AI technologies. Moreover, the requirements for performance, skill levels, and the Solutions Partner designation will be updated to align better with the core workloads found in Microsoft 365 E3 and the current landscape of AI integration.
These changes will broaden the range of workloads included in the specialization and refresh the requirements to ensure that partners have the skills needed to effectively deploy, secure, and scale AI-driven collaboration. Additionally, partners will now need to obtain both the Modern Work and Security designations to qualify for the Secure AI Productivity specialization.
If you’re already enrolled in this specialization, make sure to prepare to meet these updated requirements during your next renewal, provided it takes place after April 29, 2026.
