Zoom Capabilities from 10% to 1000%

Supported Access views have received a significant upgrade, allowing you to zoom in anywhere between 10% and 1000%. This expands the former range of 50% to 500%, now offering new options of 10%, 25%, and 1000% in the Zoom menu. You can also use the status bar slider for complete zoom flexibility.

The enhanced zoom range is available when setting the default zoom level for a database as well.

Wider Zoom Support for Various Forms

You can now zoom in on both continuous forms and popup forms. In a continuous form, the zoom function simultaneously scales the repeating records and their associated controls. This makes it simpler to read individual records or view multiple records at once. Additionally, if you have embedded continuous forms, they too will scale along with their parent form, ensuring everything stays visually coherent.

When it comes to popup forms, you can zoom in without altering their design. Since these forms don’t use the regular status bar zoom control, you can easily zoom by holding Ctrl and scrolling the mouse wheel, or by using the designated keyboard shortcuts.

Zoom Features for Reports in Report View

Now you can also zoom in on reports displayed in Report View, aligning their functionality with forms, tables, and queries. This allows you to enlarge a report to scrutinize specific values or zoom out to get a broader perspective of the overall layout and data.

Moreover, reports shown within forms will scale together with their parent form, offering a consistent viewing experience in databases that feature nested forms and reports.

Customise Your Zoom Experience

Depending on the type of content you’re viewing, you have several options for zooming:

• Select a zoom percentage from the menu located on the ribbon.
• Drag the zoom slider on the status bar for on-the-fly adjustments.
• Hold down Ctrl while scrolling the mouse wheel.
• Use the shortcuts Ctrl+Alt+Plus or Ctrl+Alt+Minus to zoom in or out.
• Press Ctrl+Alt+0 to return to the standard 100% view.

With this expanded zoom range and increased support for reports, popup forms, continuous forms, and nested content, you can now effortlessly customise your Access workspace to suit your needs—whether you want to zero in on the details or get a broader overview.
