Scaling Community Impact: M365 Community Day St. Louis 2026

M365 Community Days – Saint Louis (previously known as SharePoint Saturday STL) is an annual educational gathering focused on Community Days. This blog post has been collaboratively authored by Becky Bertram, a Microsoft MVP and Co-Organizer of M365 Community Days St. Louis.

This event brings together a diverse group of professionals, including administrators, end-users, architects, and developers who are keen on Microsoft AI, collaboration, and cloud technologies. It serves as a fantastic platform for sharing insights on using tools like Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI, Viva, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, the Power Platform, and related Microsoft offerings.

Designed with the community in mind, this event aims to educate and engage local technical enthusiasts. It taps into the expertise of local IT professionals, decision-makers, tech users, developers, and solution architects, creating an environment where they can exchange real-world experiences, best practices, and valuable knowledge.

On May 1, 2026, the St. Louis Microsoft community united for M365 Community Day St. Louis – a free, one-day event focusing on practical learning, real-world solutions, and meaningful connections centred around Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform. With over 200 attendees and 36 sessions available across multiple tracks, this marked our largest gathering yet. More importantly, it showcased a significant shift within the community: attendees are not merely discovering these tools; they are actively implementing them in their work environments and eager to expand their uses.

Throughout the day, engagement was vibrant. Sessions were consistently well attended, attendees strategically navigated between tracks, and sponsor areas naturally facilitated conversations and collaboration. Participation persisted right through to the final sessions and raffle, highlighting the value everyone found in both the content and connections made.

Events like M365 Community Day play an essential role in making enterprise technology more accessible. By bringing together professionals with varying roles and levels of experience, we foster an environment where ideas can be shared, tested, and applied effectively.

This year’s 36-session lineup reflected both current priorities and the future direction of the Microsoft ecosystem.

• AI and Copilot took centre stage, highlighting practical applications for everyday use. The conversations have evolved from exploring ideas to delivering real value through active implementation.

Achieving our highest attendance and delivering 36 sessions is an exciting milestone for the St. Louis community, establishing a new benchmark for future events.
